Thanks :) and yep I will always feel sorry for those involved but after this long it's time to move on and let them heal so they can get on with their lives like the ones who died would have wanted.

Thanks :) and I must say it makes a change to find someone who thinks the way you do as well. It's rare as well to find someone who doesn't have a go at a person like me for saying my opinion.
I agree it's not easy, hell it took me awhile to forget some of the bad things my partner did and even then not all have been forgotten but I no longer care as nothing can be done about them and only do harm to whats happening now. The old way of thinking about german people is even rubbing off onto children now so as soon as they come across a german they are glaring at them and hating them for something that weren't even their fault. Even a show, Britians got talent a german went on stage and some of the crowd booed at him for being german, now that's not right but isn't there fault it's down to them being taught from a young age to hate germans etc. By hating the past we're more than likely ruining the future for everyone and if it gets too out of hand then the newer generation may end up fighting with germans and causing even more to suffer due to them being stuck in the past.
In some parts of Germany you get treated better than peple in England, but only by some people as even some germans haven't completely forgiven us nor a few other countries for what we did to them. But most seem a bit more easy going about the whole thing and some I talk to just laugh about the past and prefer to live in the here and now.
Agreed, no history of any country is clear of blame or evil deeds. Just wish people would stop judging by the past so much.

Thank you :) and yeah everyone suffered at that time but suffering was going on before the war as well, german people were suffering a ton and hitler sorted it out so they were better off and a bit happier. Before the war started anyways then everyone suffered. Shame we can't all still go by the old saying of "can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" or "forgive and forget" but maybe later on in the years to come more people will have the guts to point out the good hitler did and not just think he is evil, he was as balanced as any other human being, both good and bad. Thank you for your comment, makes a wonderful change to know someone else thinks like that :) hope you have a great day.
